Besides exploring the current status of private universities on the internationalization continuum and the overall perception of international competitive position of private universities are identified as well. Although the internationalization is possible, desired, recognized and well accepted as important by most Malaysian private universities, the issue focused by this paper is on the perceived level of importance and implementation of ICT integration as internationalization strategies towards improving the internationalization performance of private universities in Malaysia. The evaluation on the above issue has enabled this study to identify the association and gaps among the factors highlighted above.
